Debra and I stood outside a business in Texarkana and I was complaining about some things in my marriage that I was very angry about. Debra changed the subject, so I thought, and she bluntly asked me, “Well, what happens during a typical evening from the time you get home until bedtime?” I told her proudly what I did to help out and make the little lady’s evening great. She again bluntly asked, “Do you want to know what to do to change that?” Debra can do some strait-talking! She can say 30 minutes worth in 10, and doesn’t mind telling you exactly what you do wrong. The great thing, however, is what she told me to do right. Her solution worked. She might have hurt my pride in about 10 min, but she has brought to my life a way to get everything a man would want from his wife and for me to be everything to my wife she needs. But first, she made me understand that I had to change my evenings to change my evenings!

Several years ago we had many problems that we felt could not be worked out. We talked to Debra in a private session and explained our feelings. After 10 years, our wedded bliss had wilted to a lifeless, redundant cycle of arguing, being angry, then tolerating each other for two weeks until it was time to bring the whole argument up again.
