Dozens of iNetGlobal members showed support for their right to freedom by flying and driving into Minneapolis to attend last Monday’s court hearing in St. Paul.  The Judge Donovan Frank court-room was overflowing, and another room had to be opened for closed-circuit viewing of the proceedings by all interested parties.  Attendees from Canada, from New York, Illinois, and Iowa - as well as locals from Minnesota -  sat quietly and respectfully through the hearing, then departed for a private rally in Bloomington to commiserate about the case.  Still befuddled by the unfair treatment by the USA Government, iNetGlobal members continue to appeal to their peers with gestures which counter the invalid claims of the prosecution.  iNetGlobal Attorney Jon Hopeman has, thus far, been afforded little opportunity to interject evidence, but did manage to make mention in court about some 4,000 letters and emails from members and customers which testify to the legitimacy of the company’s products.

ARE THESE THE NEW FREEDOM FIGHTERS, WORKING TO SAVE FREE ENTERPRISE, IN AN ANTI-BUSINESS ERA OF USA HISTORY??

Next morning, many of the above Freedom Fighters met with Star/Tribune Reporter, Jim Walsh, to show the side of the story that is yet to be exposed.  While that meeting seemed to be enlightening, informative, and illustrative to Mr. Walsh pursuant to raising the awareness by the media of iNetGlobal’s product-line, we have yet to see any of that enlightenment brought forth in the form of publication on the Star/Tribune blog - but “Johnny on the Spot” for the big story of the iNetGlobal raid.  This writer, feeling disenfranchised by this ongoing omission by the media, continues to ask, “Where has fair and balanced reporting gone?”, and “What ever happened to this symbol of justice?”

I have wondered, “what is the ‘big rub’ that caused the U.S. Government to raid and seize the assets of iNetGlobal”?  For many decades I have wondered about a lot of things that the USA does, and now at a ripe age of 67, my experience with being close to the iNetGlobal situation puts a few things in perspective for me.

It now occurs to me that there are two major forces that have led to this raid.  The first of those forces is the fact that the USA Government has been, for decades, slowly but surely trending toward Socialism.  Their desire to “level the playing field” rings loudly sweet with a large demographic of today’s American.  That particular demographic has been spoon-fed with welfare, with free education, –  with all kinds of perks that much of the world’s population does not receive from their respective governments.  One can argue that this is the great thing about America.  Perhaps they are right, but I beg to disagree because I believe that it has resulted in an unhappier America, not a happier America.  Controversy abounds in almost every facet of our lives today in America.  I for one should be feeling happy and free, but I do not.  It is not in my nature to bury my head in the sand, ignore the news, and be happy.  I happen to believe that it would be wrong for my generation — the offspring of the “greatest generation” — it would be wrong for us to stand by and let government destroy all of what our parents’ generation worked so hard to save for us –  the greatest of which is FREEDOM.

That gets me to my second force, and it collides head-on with the first force.  iNetGlobal just happens to be one of the world’s Poster Children because it is a business that epitomizes freedom.  Generally, the business model of iNetGlobal is comprised of two recent and major world developments that conflict, in spades, with Socialism.  a) The Internet represents freedom, and b) Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) represents freedom.  What does iNetGlobal have for a business?  They sell internet marketing and advertising products, and they use the MLM marketing model to sell those products.

Over the past few weeks since the U.S.A. Government raid on iNetGlobal, I have been speaking out quite a bit.  I have been in the newspaper.  I have listened in the court-room.  I have been praised for my blogging, and I have been chastised on my blog as well as on other blogs.  Hence, what does that tell me?  It tells me that iNetGlobal represents — or as I said earlier –  iNetGlobal is a “Poster Child”  — to that demographic of the USA and the world that wants the freedom of the Internet and the freedom of MLM.  At the same time, iNetGlobal represents a “Wanted Dead or Alive Evil-Doer” for that demographic that prefers Socialism.

My distractors have a right to their opinion.  If they really believe that Socialism is best, they have my blessing to believe it.  On the other hand, they do not have the right to use tyranny to stomp on my beliefs, nor my hard work, nor my right to sell legitimate internet marketing products using the MLM vehicle.  THE CONCEPT CALLED FREEDOM, I BELIEVE, IS THE “big rub” that CAUSED THE U.S. GOVERNMENT TO RAID INETGLOBAL AND SEIZE THEIR ASSETS.

On February 23, 2010 the USA Government raided the iNetGlobal Corporate offices in downtown Minneapolis, MN –  seizing computers, files and records — subsequently freezing corporate bank accounts and iCash balances of iNetGlobal Independent Business Owners — ordering employees to go home — generally, what can only be described an intrusion on the free enterprise system all over the world.   To quote one of the iNetGlobal attorneys on that fateful day, “It is sad.”

Somehow, the U. S. Government had been led to believe that the company is nothing but a Ponzi Scheme and that iNetGlobal has scant products that they offer to their MLM members and their customers.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.  INetGlobal products, in fact, are changing lives of people throughout the globe.  The products and internet marketing tools offered by iNetGlobal to members are of extreme value.  Furthermore, the MLM member-groups are constantly holding Webinars, Meetings and Presentations, to teach people how to access and utilize the products that are available, most of which are free or of nominal cost.

At the time of the U.S. Government raid in Minnepolis, a group of us were visiting people in India that were teaching the technically-savvy people of Mumbai, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Jaipur, etc., how to use these products and how to avail themselves of knowledge through the teamwork of members in the iNetGlobal nework.  Our reaction, while visiting in India, on the day of the raid?  Appalling!  The Attorney’s words, “It is sad”, was an understatement.  Here, in India, new members and prospective members were clearly dumbfounded that the U.S.A. Government would perform such an aggressive act against a company such as iNetGlobal, given their own personal exposure to the great value of the iNetGlobal line of internet marketing and online communications products.  For Yours Truly, being from the USA, it was a dark day indeed for me to try to explain what the culture is like in my country in-so-far as Government interference in our lives and our business is concerned.  Have you ever seen an Indian shake his head from side to side, in  a kind-of-like circular motion?  I have learned that this uniqure head-gesture typically means something like, “I sort-of got that, but would you please explain that again?”  For the past couple of weeks since the raid on iNetGlobal, there has been a great deal of that certain head-gesture from our Indian friends.  I have even gotten pretty good at doing it myself.

Indians have profound respect for we Americans.  Indians have profound puzzlement for our government, however, as their culture does not accept the kind of meddling interference from their government.  We have learned that India is a tribute to the free world, to free enterprise, for individual rights, and its people are all-around a culture of live and let live.  Members and prospective members, as well as bankers, advocates and lawyers, law enforcement people — that we have met— find the iNetGlobal system to be fair and reasonable.  More importantly, they see the products that iNetGlobal offers to be outstanding  –  a tribute to American ingenuity - - creativity and brilliance that somehow seems to survive and which we bring to the other countries of the world —-  despite the confusing interference from the American government.  To me, it is worse than confusing.  It is an embarrassment to America, on a world-wide basis.  We have talked with people in Canada, in the United Kingdom, in Thailand, in China, in Tunisia, in Australia, etc. etc. etc.  Nobody gets it.  If all of those people were Indians, the circular head-shaking would be going on in those places too.

We will be writing more about this in the weeks and months ahead.  Our mission to re-establish a free American people will not stop.
