If the June 11th interim settlement agreement is any kind of a harbinger (iNetGlobal’s execution of the history-making funds-release pact with the USA Government), it should be a reasonable prediction that the company is prevailing in its pre-litigation efforts.  Clearly, this agreement is an historically rare event — perhaps unprecedented.  Why should iNetGlobal win?  There are a lot of reasons why,  — none the least of which are its worldwide internet presence and its international perspective of the marketing team members.  It is no accident that iNetGlobal has an Alexa rating that is very near the top 10,000 in the world.  This is true, while the “usa.gov” site is ranked only 3000 above that of iNetGlobal.   One could thus conclude that iNetGlobal understands the internet better than the government understands it, given that there are a few hundred million users of “usa.gov” in contrast to an exponentially-growing few tens of thousands of iNetGlobal product-users.  So, what does that have to do with this case?  Perhaps the USA Government’s learning-curve has trended upward during the process of these past 4 months since their ill-advised raid on February 24th in Minneapolis.  Perhaps they have had some eyes opened by people “up the G-scale”.  I might even dare to say that in the upcoming week, further evidence will be presented that might result in the powers-that-be asking “what the hell did we do here?”

iNetGlobal, as a company under seige, has managed to do a horrific amount of homework to defend itself against the allegation that it is a Ponzi Scheme, and to the best of my knowledge, it is that homework that has resulted in the agreement referenced above.  Furthermore, there is a great deal more of that expensive homework that is about to be presented (presumably this week) that will show the Government Attorneys the reality of the iNetGlobal products, the legality of its marketing plan, the accountability of its profitability –  all factors that evidence the antithesis of a Ponzi Scheme.

One of the sad things about the Commerce Laws in America today is that the USA Government has the power to put a company such as iNetGlobal under its seizure without the benefit of reasonable investigation and due process, rendering that company almost helpless, financially, to get its day in court.  The government can do this, absent of indictments –  all at the stroke of a pen.  Never-the-less, iNetGlobal has managed to retain the professionals and the independent investigators that are a necessary part of winning this arduous fight.  Its reports are in place, and they are ready for the justice system to hear their case.  Meanwhile, the wheels of justice turn very very slowly, and it is frustrating to watch.  When this entire matter culminates into a grand re-opening, do not expect to get an apology, and do not expect a big mainstream media announcement.  In fact, we do not even want that.  We just want to be left alone to use our products, to sell our products, and to exercise our rights to succeed in the world market that we have all worked so hard to gain a foothold.

You, the members, have read about the agreement of June 11th.  To many, it may have seemed like a non-event.  Quite the contrary.  It was historical.  The Government is not known to capitulate on matters such as even allowing a company to breathe after a raid and seizure that involves the kinds of allegations they are enduring.  The upcoming week is equally significant, I am told.

Here are a couple of quotes from a recent email received from one of the marketing team-leaders:  “Sorry for the communication shutdown over the last 30 days but a silence request was made to allow the negotiations with the Government to go smoothly.”  — “In fact we have recently won a huge victory with the federal authorities who have decided that for the time being it needs to work with iNetGlobal on these issues vs going the legal route. I believe our business is reflecting more positively on their (the USA) lawyers than their first hyped up look at our business.”  This team-leader is a master of understatement! In essence, the statement is:  “The Government attorneys are seeing things differently than they first thought.”

The Bottom Line is:  Could they not have handled this with some thought about one of the basic tenets of our system –  “Innocent until proven guilty”???  In any event, expect some things to happen this week, and expect it to be very positive.

Dozens of iNetGlobal members showed support for their right to freedom by flying and driving into Minneapolis to attend last Monday’s court hearing in St. Paul.  The Judge Donovan Frank court-room was overflowing, and another room had to be opened for closed-circuit viewing of the proceedings by all interested parties.  Attendees from Canada, from New York, Illinois, and Iowa - as well as locals from Minnesota -  sat quietly and respectfully through the hearing, then departed for a private rally in Bloomington to commiserate about the case.  Still befuddled by the unfair treatment by the USA Government, iNetGlobal members continue to appeal to their peers with gestures which counter the invalid claims of the prosecution.  iNetGlobal Attorney Jon Hopeman has, thus far, been afforded little opportunity to interject evidence, but did manage to make mention in court about some 4,000 letters and emails from members and customers which testify to the legitimacy of the company’s products.

Next morning, many of the above Freedom Fighters met with Star/Tribune Reporter, Jim Walsh, to show the side of the story that is yet to be exposed.  While that meeting seemed to be enlightening, informative, and illustrative to Mr. Walsh pursuant to raising the awareness by the media of iNetGlobal’s product-line, we have yet to see any of that enlightenment brought forth in the form of publication on the Star/Tribune blog - but “Johnny on the Spot” for the big story of the iNetGlobal raid.  This writer, feeling disenfranchised by this ongoing omission by the media, continues to ask, “Where has fair and balanced reporting gone?”, and “What ever happened to this symbol of justice?”

I’ve got a good idea. Perhaps we prove that the Company is legit and let the chips fall where they may between the government, Renner, and Keough. Clearly, the government’s “rub” is with Renner — Renner’s “rub” is with the government and with Keough. All along, as you know, I believe that the Company is legit.
As for the players — hmmm?? As for the government — hmmm? If the government is really after one or more of the players, was it necessary to destroy the company in the process? If the players are really after each other, was it necessary to destroy the company in the process?? As someone commented on http://www.startribune.com, “plenty of dirt to go around.”
But I guess I am biased. I am one of those who happens to have learned and taught people how to use the products. No “good work” goes unpunished. Instead of the “Empire” striking back, it appears that it is high time that the “Workers” strike back.
Until today when I read the government’s memorandum, it did not occur to me that iNetGlobal, — the Company itself, — has yet to be properly represented, legally, over the past few weeks since the raid, — and that was quite stupid of those of us who have legitimately learned and taught. That situation is about to change!
In defense of the government, they make it very clear in the “memorandum” that we should do just that (one can challenge their legal methods, however.)
In defense of Renner, he considers it to be his company — therefore his right and responsibility to protect and to serve (one can challenge the legal methods, however.)
In defense of Keough, I’d guess that he and Renner had one big pissing contest, so Keough felt justified (one can challenge his legal methods, however).
As for the Company, there appears to be some light at the end of the tunnel, and we can only trust in the integrity and the wisdom of Honorable Judge Frank to see through all of this. Hard working people have been hurt because of three opposing forces that don’t like each other very much. I think that Judge Frank believes in Power-to-the-People. If there are any issues that need to be fixed, the people can handle it.

Pretty Sad how the whistleblower wanted severance

He (Steven Keough) was a whistleblower, claiming he knew it was a criminal enterprise, but he was demanding a severance paid by illicitly gained funds?

No matter how you cut it -  no matter the outcome for iNetGlobal in the USA Court - innocent or guilty, Steven Keough committed a crime.  In his short tenure at iNetGlobal, he learned ONE OF THREE POSSIBILITIES, AND THOSE POSSIBILITIES ARE MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE.

1)  Keough learned little or nothing about iNetGlobal, therefore could make no determination of guilt versus innocence.

or

2)  Keough learned plenty about iNetGlobal, and the fact that they have valuable and powerful internet marketing products and services, and make real profits, thus making it a lie to accuse the company of a Ponzi Scheme.

or

3) Keough learned plenty about iNetGlobal, to the extent that he could make a judgment that he could blow the whistle and convince the USA Government that it is a Ponze Scheme.

Assume for a minute that #1, above, is correct.  Then Keough commited a crime.  As acting CEO, Keough had the opportunity and the responsibility to learn more, to work on fixing the areas that might be of concern to him, and to help people throughout the organization understand the importance of knowing about the products.  After all, one of the big concerns was and is (to the iNetGlobal critics) that there were lots of non-English-speaking members.  Keough represented to the iNetGlobal members and staff that he was fluent in Chinese.  Also, remember, the iNetGlobal web site has the option available to be read in Chinese.  His crimes, given Possibility #1 –  plentiful, not the least of which is dereliction of duty.

Now let’s assume that Possibility #2 is correct.  The obvious conclusion, given this is correct, then Keough lied to the USA Government.

Finally, let’s assume that Possibility #3 is correct.  Give this possibility, then Keough is obviously guilty of the crime of attempting to extract, or extort, “illicitly gained funds”, –  a point so aptly declared by “bildo69″ with his comment on the Star Tribune blog.

Unless I am missing something, a criminal case against Steven Keough appears to be an “open and shut” no-brainer.

I have wondered, “what is the ‘big rub’ that caused the U.S. Government to raid and seize the assets of iNetGlobal”?  For many decades I have wondered about a lot of things that the USA does, and now at a ripe age of 67, my experience with being close to the iNetGlobal situation puts a few things in perspective for me.

It now occurs to me that there are two major forces that have led to this raid.  The first of those forces is the fact that the USA Government has been, for decades, slowly but surely trending toward Socialism.  Their desire to “level the playing field” rings loudly sweet with a large demographic of today’s American.  That particular demographic has been spoon-fed with welfare, with free education, –  with all kinds of perks that much of the world’s population does not receive from their respective governments.  One can argue that this is the great thing about America.  Perhaps they are right, but I beg to disagree because I believe that it has resulted in an unhappier America, not a happier America.  Controversy abounds in almost every facet of our lives today in America.  I for one should be feeling happy and free, but I do not.  It is not in my nature to bury my head in the sand, ignore the news, and be happy.  I happen to believe that it would be wrong for my generation — the offspring of the “greatest generation” — it would be wrong for us to stand by and let government destroy all of what our parents’ generation worked so hard to save for us –  the greatest of which is FREEDOM.

That gets me to my second force, and it collides head-on with the first force.  iNetGlobal just happens to be one of the world’s Poster Children because it is a business that epitomizes freedom.  Generally, the business model of iNetGlobal is comprised of two recent and major world developments that conflict, in spades, with Socialism.  a) The Internet represents freedom, and b) Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) represents freedom.  What does iNetGlobal have for a business?  They sell internet marketing and advertising products, and they use the MLM marketing model to sell those products.

Over the past few weeks since the U.S.A. Government raid on iNetGlobal, I have been speaking out quite a bit.  I have been in the newspaper.  I have listened in the court-room.  I have been praised for my blogging, and I have been chastised on my blog as well as on other blogs.  Hence, what does that tell me?  It tells me that iNetGlobal represents — or as I said earlier –  iNetGlobal is a “Poster Child”  — to that demographic of the USA and the world that wants the freedom of the Internet and the freedom of MLM.  At the same time, iNetGlobal represents a “Wanted Dead or Alive Evil-Doer” for that demographic that prefers Socialism.

My distractors have a right to their opinion.  If they really believe that Socialism is best, they have my blessing to believe it.  On the other hand, they do not have the right to use tyranny to stomp on my beliefs, nor my hard work, nor my right to sell legitimate internet marketing products using the MLM vehicle.  THE CONCEPT CALLED FREEDOM, I BELIEVE, IS THE “big rub” that CAUSED THE U.S. GOVERNMENT TO RAID INETGLOBAL AND SEIZE THEIR ASSETS.

When I think about the raid itself, immediately realizing full-well the implications of having millions of iNetGlobal dollars frozen, our initial response was to write this:
